The sessions are intended for specialists responsible for the follow‑up and care of patients living with HIV (including physicians, nurses, psychologists, dietitians, and others), as well as final‑year residents or healthcare professionals with an interest in HIV infection at Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital. Professionals from community centers and/or primary care are also welcome to participate.

Information

This continuing education course offers a comprehensive and up‑to‑date overview of key topics in the field of HIV, with a strong focus on research, treatment, and patient well‑being. Over the course of ten monthly sessions, participants will explore a wide range of relevant and emerging aspects in HIV management.

The program covers the management of clinical studies, new treatment strategies, aging with HIV, and key legal considerations. It also explores mental health, neurocognition, vaccines, and sexual diversity. Led by renowned experts, the sessions provide an interdisciplinary perspective designed to strengthen professional practice and enhance the quality of life of people living with HIV.
