Laia Arbonés Fernández

Dr. Laia Arbonés is a specialist in Internal Medicine with experience in infectious diseases and HIV infection. She completed her specialty training at the Hospital de Mataró, where she has been working since 2017 as an attending physician in the Functional Unit of Infections and HIV. She provides inpatient and outpatient care to a large number of people living with HIV. She is a member of the executive committee of the PISCIS cohort and a scientific member of the GESIDA-NOVEL group.

Committed to teaching and continuous improvement, she has been actively involved in the development of various clinical protocols and has participated as a trainer in educational activities, as part of the Care Coordination Group of the Technical Commission for HIV and AIDS Prevention in Mataró.
