The workshop is aimed a multidisciplinary group of healthcare professionals and specialists in infectious disease or internal medicine dedicated to HIV care. It is also relevant for researchers, clinical study coordinators, representatives from educational institutions and academia, as well as professionals from the pharmaceutical industry.

Information

Excellence in ARV treatment directly impacts the efficacy and tolerability obtained in the quality of life of HIV-infected subjects and the cost-efficacy of treatment budgets in the HIV disease. As information evolves quickly, timely updates of the topics with a clinical impact on antiretroviral treatment strategies and drug choices are necessary.

The 7th edition focuses on updating new antiretrovirals, as well as potential future medications in development. Additionally, it evaluates current antiretroviral treatment strategies and explores transmission elimination strategies, such as PrEP. Invited experts will also address the increase in sexually transmitted infections, along with viral coinfections like HBV and HPV.

The program includes two debate sessions, one on the use of statins for people with HIV and another on the use of DOXYPEP in high-risk individuals.
